Evil worries
try and rob me
of everything
including sleep.
And when I don't sleep,
then I don't dream.
Things get so hazy.

The drugs I take,
to put me to sleep,
take away my dreams.
And when I don't dream
its like I'm nowhere

Still, certain memories
keep re-playing.
I know all the scenes.
Driving thru the rain,
swimming in the lake,
all those dog day afternoons.

What are these visions?
